The Honda Santa Monica sales team is amazing and kind. I went in to see some new CRVs and got to test drive a couple. Decided to buy one after thinking about it for a week and was offered choices and great deals. No pressure the team goes above and beyond with care and kindness and paitience. I recommend this dealership.

Came in and loved the fact that that I was approached properly by Emily. I asked about a used car that I seen on there website. Mind you I didn't even call in ahead of time but she knew her inventory and pulled up the car so I can test drive. The car was pretty clean for a used car, if I wanted perfection I would go with a new car. After the test drive she introduced me to Alfonso the Sales Manager. He's a low pressure person with no BS. I told him my situation and what I can do on monthly payment. He was able to work with me and get really close to the payment I wanted. I know as a consumer you can't aways get what you want but he came really close it was a $20 dollar difference, I guess I have to cut back on Starbucks and McDonald's 😆. Next day he followed up with me to see if everything was good. I let him know that one of the headlights was out and he set up an appointment so I can get it fixed. If I could rate this group of people a 💯, I would. This is my third car here and honestly I would come here again.

I bought a used 2000 Honda CR-V, and brought it to Honda Santa Monica for service when I heard a noise rattling. They did a full check of the vehicle and found a few parts needed to be replaced. I called around to get competitive pricing, as I figured the dealer would mark up the price a lot but actually their price was reasonable and competitive. The people that work here are good people, including Chris (my service advisor), Rey, Leo, Eugene, Moe. They did a great job with the car and took care of me, giving me a complimentary nice rental car to use meanwhile. It was a good experience.

I still wish they could cancel and refund the Paint & Fabric Warranty we never meant to purchase, but hopefully our next go around with them purchasing a vehicle will be much easier. -- We purchased our new car here over the summer and just had our first complementary maintenance appointment. The vehicle purchasing process was by far the worst we've had at a dealership -- prices on the vehicles didn't match the online inventory, they added on so many things after we selected the vehicle we then had to negotiate off, and the finance manager was very deceptive on the purchase price. For example, he up sold us on every possible thing -- while we repeatedly asked to clarify what exactly we were buying, the plan deductible, etc. and he hand waived us away and we never once saw a service contract because he refused to share the computer screen and verbally explained the documents we were e-signing (we only had the signature pad, not the computer scree). When I finally got the full contracts, I saw he blatantly misrepresented them: high deductibles, unnecessary coverage, and even a Paint Warranty we had explicitly declined. After we purchased the vehicle, we cancelled every single upcharge with Honda and the third party vendor for a full refund. I still gave them a shot at the complementary maintenance which exceeded the estimated wait time, even with a morning appointment (almost two hours for an oil change and inspection) and they took the liberty to add their dealer license plate holders to my vehicle without permission. Cue another twenty minutes waiting for them to remove.
